Electronic Advisor

Welcome to the Electronic Advisor

The Electronic Advisor is for your convenience and should be used to supplement -- not replace -- one-on-one meetings with your advisor.

Academic advising is essential to obtaining a high-quality education. Meet with an advisor you are comfortable with regularly. Advisors are available to answer your questions, help plan out schedules, and advise you on a variety of issues.

If you are a current student in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences you have professional academic advisors and peer advisors at your disposal in your department's advising center, located either in bldg.11/rm.246 or bldg.10/rm.202. They can help you with quarterly course selection, general policy and procedural advising, and tapping into supportive resources on campus, as your circumstances dictate.

You have been assigned a faculty advisor in your major, as well. Check with your department office to find out who your faculty advisor is. Visit with your faculty advisor regularly to keep him/her to discuss and plan your career elective area, and understand internship opportunities. If you would like to change your faculty advisor, have a discussion with the advisor you would prefer and with his/her approval make the switch in your department office.
