The Agricultural Business major at Cal Poly provides students with the knowledge and experience needed for the expanding and fast-paced agricultural environment of the future. The program exposes students to economics and accounting, domestic and international marketing and management, law and policy, production agriculture, environmental considerations, and technological studies that prepare students for increasingly complex, networked and global careers in agriculture. Students enrolled in the Agricultural Business major may choose an emphasis in one of the following concentrations, or define their specialty:
- Farm and Ranch Management
- Agribusiness Marketing
- Agribusiness Policy
- Agribusiness Finance/Appraisal
- International Agribusiness
