Great winemaking combines scientific knowledge, creativity and the ability to make informed decisions at every stage of production. The Enology concentration prepares you to understand the science behind transforming grapes into wine through hands-on learning in fermentation, chemistry, microbiology and sensory evaluation.

You'll develop the knowledge and practical skills to analyze wines, manage production processes and make thoughtful winemaking decisions that influence quality, character and consistency.
