Through hands-on learning, students build the skills for careers in agriculture while preparing for certifications in mechanical, civil, electrical and agricultural engineering.

The Merriam Irrigation Practices Field is used for instruction in irrigation classes and training of industry and government personnel.

At the vertical farm student researchers work to determine how injecting nanobubbles into a hydroponic farm's water supply affects the growth of leafy greens.
