Turn Your Knowledge Into Inspiration

Agriculture Teaching Credential and Ag Education Masters

The future of agriculture depends on educators who can inspire students, share knowledge and prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders. Cal Poly’s Agricultural Education Credential Program combines hands-on teaching experience, advanced study and professional development in a year-long, cohort-based program.

From July to July, you’ll work toward earning a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Agriculture, an Agriculture Specialist Credential and a Master of Agricultural Education degree while building the skills and confidence to lead high school agricultural classrooms across California and beyond.

What You’ll Take Away

  1. Single Subject Teaching Credential in Agriculture, an Agriculture Specialist Credential and a Master of Agricultural Education degree and the knowledge and credentials to pursue a career teaching agriculture.
  2. Hands-on teaching experience that builds your confidence in classroom instruction, curriculum development, student engagement and leadership while preparing you to inspire the next generation of agricultural professionals.
  3. A strong professional foundation built through advanced study, industry engagement and collaboration with fellow educators, preparing you to lead agricultural education programs and make a lasting impact on students and communities.
