Fall Preview – Friday, October 14, 2016

Fall Preview at Cal Poly is an opportunity for you to visit our campus and learn more about the hands-on programs and career opportunities available in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences

The day will include a welcome from Executive Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs Dr. Richard Cavaletto, along with presentations about our admissions and financial aid process.

We will have students present to talk about our college and answer your questions during our general session. There will also be information sessions available with each of our departments, Ag Ambassador student tours of our campus, and a chance for seniors to sit at a computer and learn the beginning steps of the CSU Mentor application process and get some specific answers to your questions.

Please note: seniors planning to attend the CSU Mentor session must create a CSU Mentor account prior to the event at csumentor.edu.

We will finish the day with a presentation from representatives of Student Life and Leadership. We look forward to meeting with you and sharing more about the Cal Poly College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences.

The Future is YOU

Students choose to study at Cal Poly's College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences because of our small class sizes, student-centered faculty and the wide variety of hands-on educational opportunities. Our college — renowned for our Learn by Doing education model — is the premier undergraduate agriculture program in the nation, preparing the leaders of tomorrow.

Here, you can be part of a college that is comprised of the best students, faculty, staff and programs in agriculture, food and environmental sciences. Our graduates from every discipline of the college are in high demand, and companies from around the world often come to us — and to our undergraduates — to help them meet the ever-changing needs of this dynamic industry.

Our students are hands-on in the classroom, in the field, and in the lab, giving them a real entrepreneurial understanding for getting the job done from the moment they set foot on campus.

Join us at Fall Preview and explore what it means to learn in Cal Poly's College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences.
