Our Strategic Plan

Dean Brian Horgan, who joined the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences in July 2025, is entering his second year of leadership. After dedicating his first year to listening, learning, building relationships and gaining a deep understanding of the college’s people, programs, strengths and opportunities, we are now well-positioned to embark on a collaborative strategic visioning process. This effort will establish a shared direction for college, align priorities throughout and identify transformative opportunities that build on Cal Poly’s distinctive Learn by Doing mission.
