Gifted to Cal Poly in 1993, this 3,200-acre living laboratory is where students experience whole systems thinking and learn about creating and maintaining sustainable landscapes while addressing the critical ecological, economic and social challenges facing working lands across the world.

With more than 200 department field trips each year, students gain field experience while bringing classroom concepts to life. Through undergraduate research students develop understanding and skillsets. These Learn by Doing experiences begin day one.
