The center includes a bonded teaching winery with fermentation, barrel, bottling and research spaces designed to mirror industry operations. Students produce wines using professional-grade equipment while gaining hands-on experience in winemaking, quality control and research.

An adjacent academic building houses viticulture and enology labs, classrooms, faculty offices and event space, supporting collaboration with industry partners. Located next to Cal Poly’s vineyards, the center prepares students for careers across the wine and viticulture industry.
