Credit/No Credit Policies by major

Each undergraduate program and graduate program has defined whether or not students are allowed to select Credit/No Credit (CR/NC) grading for major/support courses and requirements. Credit/No Credit policies for the 2022-2026 catalog can be found below. 

  • One major or support course may be selected as CR/NC. One GE course may be CR/NC. 
  • No major, support, or concentration courses may be selected as CR/NC. One GE course may be CR/NC. 
  • No major, support, or concentration courses may be selected as CR/NC. One GE course may be CR/NC. 
  • No major, support, or concentration courses may be selected as CR/NC One GE course may be CR/NR if it does not double-count for a major/support course. 
  • No major, support, or concentration courses may be selected as CR/NC. One GE course may be CR/NC.
