Open House 2024

Open House is Cal Poly’s premier annual event to highlight our campus to admitted and current students, their supporters, alumni, and the San Luis Obispo community. In the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, students have been volunteering since last fall with faculty and staff to create an Open House event just for you. Please be sure to look for us - we will be wearing green t-shirts, clearly marked with our college logo. We want to be able to personally thank you for joining us for Open House 2024!

Club Preview Night at San Luis Obispo Farmers' Market

All visiting students and their families are invited to Club Preview Night at Farmers' Market in downtown San Luis Obispo. Click for more information.

More about the Farmer's Market

Farmers' Market is a great way to experience the community of San Luis Obispo as thousands of people come weekly to taste free samples, buy fresh food at great prices and enjoy a family fun atmosphere. Our local Farmers' Market is one of the oldest and largest in the U.S., and every Thursday night the main street is blocked off so BBQ'ers, farmers, businesses and organizations can set up their booths for the community. On Club Preview Night, clubs from across Cal Poly will have booths set up, so visiting students and families can have face-to-face interaction with various student organizations. Our Club Preview Night is a great introduction to Cal Poly student life, as well as an opportunity to enjoy local restaurants and listen to live music.
