Degree Progress Report (DPR)
Commonly called the “degree audit,” it indicates which requirements have been satisfied and which ones still must be completed.
Catalog
Prepared by the Office of the Registrar. The catalog provides a description of colleges & departments, programs, course descriptions, degree requirements, and University Policies that impact students.
Plan A Student Schedule (PASS)
Online scheduling system that allows students to plan their schedules for the upcoming quarter.
PolyPlanner
Course planning tool that allows students to map out courses they need to graduate PolyPlanner will provide the University with course demand information for future terms so the courses Cal Poly plans to offer can be in better alignment with what students plan to take. Students must update their PolyPlanner every quarter.
PolyProfile
A student’s unofficial transcript. Students can see AP credit, community college credit, academic progress gauge, and other important academic information. To access PolyProfile, login to My Cal Poly Portal and click on the Academics tab.
Permission Numbers
Code that can be obtained from a professor or department. Once classes begin, students need a permission number to be able to add a class to their schedule. Students can add classes during the first eight days of instruction of the quarter (during the add/drop period).
