Info on PHYS 125
Please see the information below for information that affect enrollment in this course. Last updated March 2, 2026.
- The Physics Department is offering two lab sections of PHYS 125 in Spring and also Summer 2026.
- The Animal Science department only receives half of the seats available - 24 seats per quarter.
- Students with the highest percent of degree completion receive first access to codes.
- Spring codes have all been distributed.
- Starting in Fall 2026, the lab will no longer be offered as a standalone course.
- Instead, the new course PHYS 1121 will include both the lecture and lab components.
- For students who've taken PHYS 121 but are unable to get a seat in PHYS 125 lab during the remaining two quarters, the Physics Department is offering sections of PHYS 2200 in order for students to satisfy this lab.
- Students will need to submit the PHYS 2200 course syllabus to Vet Schools as the documentation for the lab fulfillment.
- Please let me know if you wish to be on a list for PHYS 2200.
- If this option is not preferable to you, you will have to take PHYS 1121 as there is no other option available.
- If you haven’t yet started PHYS 121, please wait until Fall 2026 or later and enroll in PHYS 1121, which will fulfill both requirements in one course.
