Newly Admitted Students Day
Friday is dedicated to newly admitted students and their families who would like to learn more about the hands-on educational programs in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. At the University-wide welcome at 9 a.m., hear from University President Jeffrey D. Armstrong. At 10 a.m., parents and supporters will hear from College Dean Andrew Thulin, and students will meet current Cal Poly students from departments across the college.

*At the Admitted Students and Parents barbeque, the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences will serve more than 1,500 student-produced hamburgers and veggie burgers as well as food prepared by students in our Food Science program. This student-run event will have recycling and composting receptacles, striving to make the annual lunch a Zero Waste event. Click here to find the recipes to make the student-made dishes at home!
**Friday Night Invite is an event where prospective students from across the University will be able to meet each other in a fun environment. This will take place in the University Union Plaza and include a DJ, bowling, pizza, games, crafts, and a club fair. Also during this time, the Transfer Event will be happening for potential transfer students to meet and interact, while still being close enough to attend Friday Night Invite
